Why wasn't Duke Riley's stop on 4th a fumble vs Bama

I know everyone was focused on us not getting those holding calls on Hurts TD, which was total BS, but the knee clearly didn't go down and the ball was out. It would've been a scoop and score and probably would've given us the W. Riley played out of his mind this game especially this series. The hit is at around 3:40. Hate to drudge this up with baseball ballin out right now but I always wondered if anyone else saw this and wondered why it wasn't reviewed LINK

Bc the only thing that holds more than Alabama's OL is the refs holding Bama's dick in their mouths.

Its an old rule....When your knee is down, the play is over.

I understand that, but the knee clearly wasn't down. Might be a dumb post, but just rewatched our d highlights from the game and we got fricked on that as well. I understand why we can't review it though.

I hate Bama, but it appears his left knee dragged the ground before he fumbled the ball. Unfortunately, either way, it doesn't change the outcome.

Looks down to me at 3:41 with ball in hand.

do any of you guys have that one friend who just can't get over that one particular ex? He's pathetic, isn't he?

Nope. I looked at the play again, and the left knee dragged the ground before the ball came out. It's clear from the endzone camera - right before he rolled over the top of Riley.

We just need our tigers to take em to the woodshed this year. Gettin a W on the road will change the momentum in this series. Giving us a shot for b2b at TS n 2018 is big. We have the experience and etling will be far better prepared this time around one would think. Canada will give us some points to work with this season

I've accepted the fact BAMA will get the calls. Close, not close, obvious ones, etc. Saban is a God in both the SEC & NCAA. I just deal with it.

There was a thread on the rant yesterday laughing at Arkansas fans for the same shite

Here's a gem from chadwick:

Blaming the umps... typical arkansas fans. Dear hogs,
Arky has been to Omaha 8 times, LSU has been there 17 times.
Arky has won the CWS 0 times, LSU has won it 6 times.
Arky has won the SEC tournament 0 times, LSU has won it 12 times.
Arky has won the conference 4 times, LSU has won it 17 times.
LSU has an elite baseball program. Arkansas does not.
You wanna complain about the announcers showing love for LSU and not arkansas. I am a hoe! Why don't you complain about your team not giving the announcers something to love? Typical trashy pig fans.

Looks like you saw only what you wanted to see. The knee was CLEARLY down prior to the fumble.
I wish that was not the case, but I am not going to lie about it 6 months after the fact. No need for further discussion.

The thing about this play that has confused many people is they only look at his knee being off of the ground when the ball comes out. But prior to this, his knee had touched making him already down before the ball came out

I am an official of 34 years and I saw the same thing you saw. I think his knee came down first and then it touched down again. That was not a fumble. I think they may have seen what we both sex and and correctly ruled him down.
There appeared to be a hold in the touchdown play, but it was an easy play to miss if you are blocked out or are pout position. The play broke down and it can cause you to be out of position.
Of course, I will never convince the ignorant on this board of which there is a substantial amount and basically fans of any team that there is not a preanned bias out there just like the idiots on the Arkansas board who said the same thing about the game in Sunday.
We officials have way too many responsibilities to be planning an outcome of a particular game and we have too much to lose y doing so, but I will never get the masses of the ignorant to understand such, especially since most have never put on a striped shirt.
