I worked in the Slidell mall in the late 90's - had a friend that worked at KB Toys that set aside all the consoles for me. I'll always remember the pissed off mom that saw me walk out of the mall at 1045pm on release day with a N64 in my arms.

Palm pilots were crap. I remember they were the hot thing when I graduated college and I think everyone who graduated college within a few year span got a palm pilot as a graduation gift. And I don't know if I knew a single person who ended up using it.
