Are Asians racist towards each other?

Had a Japanese-American guy tell me this morning that other Asians don't like the Japanese because "they think we think our shite doesn't stink." He then went on to tell me that if any other Asian countries had built a civilization anywhere near advanced as Japan, then he'd be happy to give them props.
I also got the impression that he looks down on Vietnamese. He made some sort of comment like, "Everywhere I look, there are Vietnamese."

asian I played golf with told me you can always spot a korean because they smoke cigarettes constantly and that all asians who smoke are korean

Chinese and Japanese don't mix well.
Asians will also refer to another Asian person who dresses, acts and speaks according to Caucasian stereotypes rather than Asian ones a "Twinkie" (ie: "yellow" outside and "white" inside)

All races have an inherent preference for their own race. Thus all races are in fact "racist". Only in the last 50 or so years has nature been thrown aside in the name of liberal politics.

I've been dating a Thai girl for a while. They make more stereotypical comments about other Asian races, etc. but don't consider them racist in terms of derogatory. All Asians as a whole (at least the several I've met) seem to be very racist towards blacks tho.

Most Asians hate the Japanese because of how cruel they were during their imperialistic conquests before and during WWII.
