No matter what school the Bush, Obama, or Trump children attend, they'll still get admitted to every university in the country.
And yet, it's interesting that they still go to expensive prep schools that don't require a battery of meaningless standardized tests.

The power of a free market and a capitalist society. If people choose to make sacrifices for their kids, or otherwise have the resources to choose a private education, more power to them. They (still) have the freedom to choose what's best for their families and how to use their earned resources!

They're not all exclusive and expensive. You can pick your price range. Isidore Newman costs more than Brother Martin.

Hopefully the meaningless standardized tests will go the way of the dodo bird under the new guidelines from DOE, although educational decisions are still up to states.

They don't thus they move to TX where public schools are better than Louisiana private schools and jobs pay more and a lower cost of living.

La private schools are better than Texas public schools and as an added bonus they aren't cartel training academies like Texas schools

Can't speak for Louisiana, but in Alabama most private schools aren't that expensive. The bigger cities have a handful that are, then a bunch of more moderately priced ones. The latter are almost always connected to a church.
Get out in the rural areas, and the private schools aren't expensive at all. They're priced just high enough to keep the poorer whites and blacks out.

I went to a private catholic school and then a college prep- it wasn't cheap. there were tho... discounts for the families with 9 kids and so forth and financial assistance.
I had to go to Mass every day and got in some trouble.

Link? My Houston neighbors are school teachers and said any student coming from Louisiana regardless of public or private is automatically assigned a tutor. It may not be as many subjects if there are coming from private but they are still behind.

How is this news or political? It seems like a president would send their kid to the safest and probably the most expensive school available.

So glad it's not Sidwell Friends. St. Andrew's Episcopal is not one of the most snooty private schools in this county and appears to have a lower profile.
why do you give a shite what school his underage son attends?
this is border line creepy

Jesuit is pretty reasonable compared to what my parents paid in Houston. I am still not sure why they did that. I was zoned to decent enough public school.
