Yeah, I mean, there are plenty of birds to go around.
But its kind of hilarious that these wind farms slice and dice so many birds
I bet the ground underneath them has so many bird bones

Hey, I bet that would be a great way to feed homeless people. They could set up camp under a wind turbine and eat for free!

So cats kill 40% of the entire Nation's bird population each and every year.
Hard to believe.
Hard to believe.

I had a cat that killed a bird everyday.
There are around 75 million cats in the US.
That's like 27 Billion dead birds.

America’s cats, including housecats that adventure outdoors and feral cats, kill between 1.3 billion and 4.0 billion birds in a year,
I'd really like to be able to land one of these jobs where you make numbers up.

People are fricking stupid
Talk about stupid, wind farms are stupid. This Company located in Minden was on the Shreveport News a month or so ago. Read that article.
Without tax favors they unprofitable.
He flat out stated without tax favors they would not exist in the TV interview. The article above states they are world's leaders in the industry. It also states they are dependent on Fed and Local/State tax benefits to exist.
“Obama has been good for us. Bush was good for us and Trump should be okay. The government largely drives our business with tax credits. Obama put out a plan that extended the credits multiple years, along with a phase out plan.”

Buildings kill much more.

Between 365 and 988 million birds die from crashing into windows in the United States each year, according to a new report. That may be as much as 10 percent of the estimated total bird population of the country.

Glad to see you've managed to pull through so far.

Would it be a fun drinking game to chill under some wind turbines during migratory season and chug a beer every bird gets lit up?
I think it would be.
I think it would be.

Have you ever thrown a baby in a wind turbine???

It's not only the number of birds but also the type. Significant numbers of predatory birds such as hawks and eagles are killed due to the nature of their hunting style (looking down with hawk/eagle-eyed focus).
This is similar to killing all the sharks. It has a massive ripple down effect on the food chain and ecosystem.
I'm not saying the wind turbines are the same as the killing of millions of sharks. It's an analogy

So, it's the bird version of texting and driving.

lol this is funny....but wind turbines are a waste of time....they do kill mass amounts of birds, including endangered ones, they have to be shut down if wind gusts are too high. There's still not an efficient way to transfer all that energy to the grid, And they have to be started with a small engine that requires fuel &.....O I L. It's Hilarious actually that greenies push these massive eye sores and no one wants one in their back yard...

A better cause for the world might be "Mothers Against Turbans".

I think this guy needs to get on the case and figure out how to properly harness wind energy:
