Former Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy was shot in the leg while visiting his grandmother in Southern California over the weekend. He has returned to Washington state and is recovering. Roy was a bystander in the incident, but his heroic actions ensured a horrible situation didn’t get much worse.
USA Today reports that the shooting was a random act of violence, and that Roy quickly reacted to the shooting by shielding children in front of the home — which resulted in him being shot in the leg.

He'd be the best SG in the NBA today if his body didn't quit on him.

My brain can't handle a healthy Dame, Roy, Oden team.
Course they probably never would have gotten Dame but nonetheless; holy hell.

He'd be the third best show of the last ten years behind Wade and Bryant.

This is correct...
It is a damn shame that on the streets of America we still have this shite going on. Damnit, people, we may disagree and hate hearing each other, seeing each other, or reading each other (texts and posts--a la tigerdroppings: plenty folks here hate my posts and vice-versa), but why the Fluck DO we kill each other and run the risk of killing innocents who do us no harm?
It seems no one can see past today, or look at the bigger picture in life and beyond it. Saddens me to hear this shite.
Brandon Roy may have not made in the league for reason not to his fault, but he has succeeded in life already.

Jimmy butler this year was better than roy at his best. Harden CLEARLY better.

Is there nothing Brandon Roy can't defend against?

Didn't they get Dame on a pick from the Nets? Still could have made that deal.
