With the news yesterday that we would have early baseball today, me and the baws decided we would get a meal and a beer at Pluckers.

Called up to ask if they had the game, to which they responded, "uh yea we always stream the game". Get there, place was empty, and sit there for 45 minutes with the waitress only taking our drink orders. O and they could not figure out how to stream the game off of watchespn. We ended up paying for our drinks and heading to walkons.

I've been around here for a while and always loved that establishment but have had some shitty experiences recently. That coupled with the fact that they no longer deliver makes it seem like they SUCK now.

So y'all think they suck or what??

The wings are still good but the service has noticeably declined in the last year or so. I've noticed things like you mentioned, dirty menus, longer wait times, etc.

I used to love Pluckers but the horrible service and management has turned me off. My new go-to is the new BWW in Gonzales. Been there four or five times already and everything has been on-point. The manager is very active and wants to ensure a great meal. Everyone is busy and working and not just standing around on their phones and whatnot. Pluckers seems to be run by hacks who have no desire to be there.

I really like their wings. They're crispy, but without the batter.

Had a similar experience as the OP recently. I rarely go there now. Normally just for nostalgia when old friends come back in town or after a late night. It's poorly run and the waiters that used to hold the place together are no longer there.

Subpar experiences are common if you go at lunch or in the afternoon. But then again, it's on you if you're eating Pluckers when the sun is still up.

RIP onion rings.

Went there with my dad last year, the one in North Fort Worth on I35W.

Sucked arse. Wings have no flavor and were too dry. Almost as bad as Buffalo Wild Wings

I have a very select few number of places I will eat wings at, otherwise I just make them myself

You gotta wear night vision goggles in there that's why it's bad. They don't give a frick

Wingzone was always superior but college aged drunks gave Pluckers the upper hand.

I got a to go order from the Bluebonnet location a couple weeks ago. I had to wait almost 10 minutes for them to ring me up because the employees were putting in personal orders for themselves. I shite you not when I say there were almost 10 employees standing at the front desk and not one acknowledged me for 5 minutes.

When pluckers is on point, best wings in br (besides maybe TJ Ribs) imo. Lunch time they are usually fresh and service is good, but in the last year or so the dinner service has become horrible and the wings come out undersauced and/or cold. I've had wings be overcooked and cold..

I always go to Bluebonnet bc it's a mile away from my house. Haven't been to Nicholson in forever.
