It's more about how fast you process information. I give it to all my interview candidates. I don't hire anyone under 20. They typically get overwhelmed with a lot of different things coming at them. However Wonderlic is just a tool, if you use it wrong it means nothing.

Also, I am willing to best most of these guys aren't trying or they could have a focus problem.

does it purport to measure intelligence? I always thought it was ability to process information quickly and accurately. Though I'm not sure how well it does this either since mental processing compared to mental & physical processing is totally different.

Well that's your perogative, but it's true. I'm not the kind of person that would get any satisfaction from lying on an anonymous message board.

These guys are making millions while we sadly laugh about their results on a meaningless test.

41 correct, or 82%. I couldn't finish in time though, perhaps I need to begin reading walls of text people here post to improve my reading speed and my stoop1d.

Not meaningless. It measures intelligence, there's no advanced information on it from what I can tell, which to me, tells you it's essentially basic skills, graded heavily based on speed. If being smart or recalling information quickly would help you in your profession, this test measures that. If you just need to Waterboy and run at a QB, intelligence isn't as important as say, smashing motherfrickers.

Where are the freaking Alabama players scores?
Gump players were too busy smoking weed, beating up hospital workers, trying to hide their guns and other miscellaneous bullshite, to be able to take the test.

For skill positions other than QB, Wonderlic scores have an inverse relationship to success on the field, generally.

Dan Marino got a 15 or 16, telling me pretty much everything I need to know about the merit of administering the Wonderlic to NFL prospects.
