AH exhibits all the classic signs of a CTE patient. I'm not saying football made him choose his murderous path but repeated head trauma plus drug abuse and all the other vices in his life may have been the lethal combo that did him in

I really should have clarified that I meant full on CTE that makes you do abnormal things, but I can admit I'm not particularly well versed on CTE.
Totally willing to accept my lumps on this one.

Technically he died innocent. In Mass if you don't exhaust all appeals and then die you are innocent. It's called abatement ab initio.
You do know that he was already in jail for life without parole for a different murder when he was acquitted in this most recent case, yes?

Not using it as an excuse, but j can't help but wonder IF CTE was apart of his downward spiral. His behaviors exemplfiy it

And maybe he was just a terrible, murderous person.

There are people with relatively advanced CTE who do not murder people. Was he diagnosed with depression or any other symptoms?
And there's also the possibility that he had CTE and was also a horrible human.

You should probably stop posting on this topic because you keep making yourself look stupid.

If it takes that turn I'm in.

I like where you are going with this, if anything, it would shed light on his brain and any possible trauma.
However, I do think that he had longstanding other issues that CTE could have made worse (in addition to PCP). It would be a very interesting analysis to be sure, I would love to see what was going on in his head.
I am not sure what you mean by "victims who will never truly know whether or not AH committed these crimes"- Of course they all knew who killed them (or shot their eye out), AH or not.

I'm thinking you should strongly consider it as well.

Going on a gangbanging murder spree is a pretty good sign that something is off.
Aaron Hernandez is really contributing to the medical literature.

Btw Hernandez doesn't have a widow. That crazy bitch just took his last name without marrying him.

Good call, SS.
Hernandez family wants brain donated for CTE study.

Yep.
Something was wrong with him, even if it wasn't CTE. Can't hurt to find out what abnormalities were in his brain. Even if he was just a POS.
