Also overlooked is the 4th and 4 Flynn to Doucet TD against Bama that same year to tie the game which led to Chad Jones sack/fumble and eventually Hester game winning plunge from 3 yds out....in Bama

The catch from Flynn to Byrd maybe....that kept the National Championship hopes alive.

Something about that game and when it happened is just special to me
It was the game that put 2003 lsu as the best team in all of cfb. It was the game that made all those 90's seasons a distant memory. It was a moment that I thought we might never see as a lifelong lsu fan.

such a beta thing to say.
Only a beta would think that's a beta thing to say. You wouldn't know alpha if me and Chuck Norris sat you down and listed every alpha move ever.
How about contribute to the thread or run that dick sucker somewhere else.

For LSU fans, absolutely. It's not LSU's most famous play though.
In lsu athletics it is easily one of the most famous. If we are talking nationally then yeah id agree with you.
College baseball just doesn't have the national appeal of even women's basketball but the Warren Morris HR amongst lsu fans is easily one of the most famous.

WTF? Game was in the Dome in JANUARY at a very nice climate controlled atmosphere... I was there, and witnessed nothing of the such which you've attempted to describe.

Cannon. And not sure how you don't know that at 18 if you are a fan.
Posted on 4/15/17 at 5:41 pm to dgnx6
2011 Brad wing's 73 yard punt against Alabama
Posted on 4/15/17 at 5:44 pm to dgnx6
The obvious answer is Cannon
BUT
I'm a little biased after seeing an espn special on the Morris HR....
This wasn't the opinion of LSU fans....
"They" were saying what that epic HR did for LSU and all of college baseball, may be unsurpassed in one single play in all of sports

Its got to be billy cannons punt return vs ole miss, as far as the older segment of the fanbase is concerned, its not even close.

probably not even the greatest play from that game but when justin vincent broke free right up the middle on the first play of the game
While it made a HUGE statement and set the "home" crowd into a frenzy, we didn't even score on that drive due to a fumble into (or near) the EZ a few plays later.
Play of the game to me was LT's delayed blitz sack, or more likely Spears pick-6, or as anti-climatic as it may sound, DJ's game-ending punt.

Oh yeah, that's a good one too! I didn't even think about that play. Still, i would have to give it to the cannon punt return, on halloween night vs ole miss. There are so many great plays that it's difficult to pick one over the other. The bluegrass miracle vs kentucky is another legendary play. I think bc billy cannon is the only player to win a heisman trophy at lsu, his play gets the nod. Very tough to pick just one play though.

Easy, Cannon's Punt Deturn and Donnie Jones's punt

Cannon's run
Not even a question about this.

#1. Billy Cannon Halloween Run- The old-timers tell me this game had immense national significance.
#2. Bluegrass miracle
#3 Bert Jones Pass to Brad Davis to beat Ole Miss in 1972?. Somehow he was able to get off 2 plays off in 4 seconds.

How about Bert Jones to Brad Davis as time expires to win against ole miss and keep a 11 game winning streak going.
