How would you rate a 5.2 in the 40 yard dash by a nine year old girl?

In reviewing the LSU Pro Day numbers yesterday this was not far off some of the upper end numbers by the linemen and linebackers. Would this be a good timing for a girl in that tge range?

A nine year old girl did not run a true 5.2 in the 40. They have high school wide receivers in this state that don't run a 5.2 in the 40....

If a receiver can't run a 5.2 forty it's a problem. This is Louisiana

Maybe they would be better off at a different position.

I take it you would rate it as very good speed and she could start if she can catch?

Then they are mediocre to terrible. A decent HS WR would probably run a 4.8-5.0. That's not incredibly fast.

Who was timing? You? I highly doubt a 9 y/o girl ran a 5.2 40... this is why every kid who runs a sub 4.8 40 in highscool is running a 5.0 on the laser. An inexperienced clock guy is horrible for kids.

If legit that would be a very good time. However, since it's most likely hand timed, it's not legit.

I seriously doubt that. In my physical peak in high school, I was only around a flat 5.0.

Hand timed. Does it really make a difference? If it was 5.4 how would this rate? What is considered good for a girl athlete that age?

Why do you care so much about this post to make two a-hole comments instead of just responding appropriately or ignoring it all together?

You know why? Its what you do. Half of your recent posts attack others instead of intellectually responding.

Sure it does.

No idea, I've never coached a girls team, but I'd imagine that's very fast for any adolescent boy or girl.

Again I have no idea, but I did fin this chart that may be able to help you out.

Thank you for great information. You are the kind of participant this board needs more of, one who actually addresses the topic . Half of the people on this board seem to take many topics far too personally instead of ignoring it. Instead of having the world believe they are dumb they post and remove all doubt.

Again, thank you for excellent insight.
