gave me the ole "out of gas, gonna get towed" routine. Probably a meth head or something similar. I've never had one actually knock on my door before, much less my back door.
I'd really rather not have to shoot someone today. Should I be concerned? I think she was just too fried to remember knocking on my door the first time, but I couldn't tell whether or not someone was with her. I only opened the door a crack both times.
I normally wouldn't like to pull a bitch move, but I would call the cops on them. This was awhile back, but there was a guy in my neighborhood going door to door telling people he was trying to get donations for a group he was part of, who goes around helping people. Dude had clipboard with a piece of loose leaf paper asking people to write their name and how much they donated. He came to my house and in the middle of his spiel I just told him "naaaa" and closed the door. There were at least 5 signatures on the paper.. and something didn't seem right so I reported it to the police.
Come to find out, it was three guys working together.. They already picked up the two guys in other neighborhoods and by the time they came to my neighborhood, the dude was standing on the corner of one of the blocks sort of in panic mood. The other two were suppose to pick him up at a certain time, but they were picked up and brought to the police department.. Either way, you are probably not the only person she is trying to hit up and she might go to someone old or something and see an opportunity that will involves her hurting someone.. So I would let someone know.

All of her front teeth had a vertical brown line running down the center of them. Not quite a total pro yet, but she looked like she was getting there.
So an OT 9.5.....gotcha

She thought no one was home, knocked first to make sure and when you answered went with the ask for money routine to not look guilty.

Yeah reward her for trespassing
She will learn to not do it again.

Yes. There are common techniques to see if someone is home, how many people are there - how you answer the door - she could bring her partner next time and have him jump you or break in the front door while she has you at the back. Once someone doesn't take the hint and leave my property, I batten down the hatches and call the cops. The second time, she was trespassing.

Ever seen The Strangers?
Yep, I was thinking the exact same thing. There's some dude in a mask standing silently in the room behind you right now.

We having similar problem on our street. Some guy lost his family a few years ago, think he lost his job and sold his car. He walks to the get grocery store, has a banged up lady thats always with him. She curses him out every now and then on the street and has knocked on a few doors in our neighborhood. Ppl have put up cameras to make sure they dont do anything stupid. Im sure its going to be tough to sell his house too after all the shite they have failed to maintain

The Bible says that was Jesus knocking on your door.

If someone came knocking on my back door, that means they walked directly past my front door and around my house. Would answer with a pistol first, then a question.
There is no way I'm not pulling a pistol out in that situation. What if she was distracting you from her friends that were about to kick in your front door?

I had a black guy with no legs ride up on a zero turn (sorta new commercial JD) and offer a lawn cutting contract when I lived in Southdowns. He hobbled up my steps, and my dog went ape shite and almost broke through the glass door. No-legged guy kinda barrel rolled onto his zero turn. Was funny as shite.
No idea how the fricking guy weed eats, but I applaud him for trying to get work. Saw him in his work truck, with sign, driving a few hours later

No cops, but I just walked around and didn't see her or anything. A lot of people walk around the neighborhood at this time, and there's a tennis court across the street.

I don't think you have anything to worry about...probably just a strung out meth head from a neighboring trailer
