Bro

Kinda sucks tonight though, little P has a friend over and we have no power and no pizza delivery and no means to cook dinner.

The beer run was also a junk food run to feed the kiddos.

Good to know. I do love this part of town and the meth story didn't really add up.
If you make groceries at teh Skaggs-Albertsons, go on and collect the Monopoly pieces for me.

I'm working on a solid win. I can meet Sunday mornings before church and pick them up.

The last person rescued was a man. He was loaded into an ambulance after being trapped for about an hour. Sgt. Don Coppola with the Baton Rouge Police Department said his injuries aren't considered life-threatening.

The other two people who were trapped were also taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

Hope so, I was just about to start cooking when the lights went out. I'm about to start cooking chili on the barbeque, moving it to the stove would be ideal.

It's taking forever but I feel like a fricking cowboy. Kinda nice, took an hour and a half to Brown the meat. This should be done by morning if the electricity doesn't come back. Luckily I don't mind drinking alone waiting for this.

I'd get a lawyer if I were one of the victims. That graveyard and those trees have been neglected forever. Who is responsible for the graveyards? Cemetery Board?

Much like the West Nile issues by the South 22nd St graveyard two years ago, this a case of neglect, whether owned by any living entity or just a case of one that falls under the state's domain?

My mother looked into buying the little rent house on that corner twenty years ago, but didn't due to it having already having been hit by a large fallen branch before, and being so low below the graveyard over the fence(moisture issues). Those huge old graveyard trees have been on the fade for ages, and if owned by an active owner would've been pruned or taken down ages ago..which left "neglect" to appear "sheer happenstance"..

Par the course for La's 47th to 50th rated reactive and underfunded and undermanned and inept municipalities and boards.
