He's been here 3 years, but he's never redshirted. He came in as a sophomore after one year at JUCO.

That does not change the fact that he has put in effort day in and day out and finally is rewarded for it. It's truly unbelievable and a bit moving to me.

You are correct, sir. My mistake. I had it in my head for some reason that he pitched 2 years at JUCO.

Strall is Mainieri's "let's just get this game over" pitcher. But Strall wasn't going to let UNO beat him easily. Good fight, but I hope we don't need Strall again in a close game.
