frick that , lets hire Bill Walton (Who cares if he never been a coach or has ties to Louisiana) We should hire him because he has a great vocabulary and good hair. End Sarcasm

Do whatever it takes to lure Billy Donovan back to the college game. It is time to go big. As big as it takes to make this program a national power again on a consistent basis.

Pitino returned
Calipari returned
Saban returned...

to college ball. Will LSU/TAF pony up the $5-7mil it will take to get him? probably not.

Maybe like Saban he realizes he is happier as a college coach.

Maybe I'm gonna marry Charlotte McKinney tomorrow.

I mean, it COULD happen.

It does not hurt to make the effort. Who knows? Maybe like Saban he realizes he is happier as a college coach.

The Thunder just beat the spurs and are a playoff team. Saban was getting his dick beat into the dirt at Miami.

Also Alabam is one of the top 3 football programs in country. LSU mayyyy be a top 40 basketball program.

Not unless it is a blueblood at least, even then probably unlikely

In the same way LSU should have called Bill Belichick and asked if he was interested in FB.

Has nothing to do with why he might want to return to the college game.

Sure as hell wish the Alabama folks felt the same way in 2006.

It's all relative. Yes, the Thunder are a playoff team in a league where over half the teams make the playoffs. They are also in line to be the 6/7 seed in the West after falling one game short of the NBA finals last season. Why? Because Durant is not there any more. The job is NOT THE SAME as when Donovan took it. Do you really think he leaves UF for OKC if they only had Westbrook when the job was offered to him?

Saban regressed from year 1 to year 2 with the Dolphins. Donovan is doing the same with OKC.

Fortune favors the bold. Bama went out and got Saban when no one even thought he might be a candidate. shite, Eddie Nunez is "supposed" to be figuring big in the search. Well... he played for and coached with Billy Donovan at Florida. He can't even fricking pick up the phone and make a call to his old coach/boss?

Maybe Larry could put in a good word for me. If the terms of the restraining order don't prohibit him from contacting her, that is.
