This guy looks dumb. I'm sorry, but he does.
I get it that a player doesn't have to be Phi Beta Kappa to play in the NFL. But there are some positions that require intelligence. They're all in the middle of the field: QB, C, MLB, and S. If a team is looking at Faster as a Will LB, then no worries. But as a MLB, the guy who calls defense signals and gets the other players in the correct position, I think teams have a right to be concerned about this guy's intelligence.

I never expected him to interview well, I've heard him speak. He was never making the deans list, there are plenty of documented cases of guys with downs level IQ's succeeding in the NFL though. Football is a simpler game than many make it out to be. I wasn't under the impression that anyone was drafting their next attorney or accountant. Kid never got in trouble in college, they try to piss these kids off in the medicals and it worked with Foster. He's fresh off rotator cuff surgery, it probably wasn't hard. The kid is a savage, you can watch his film and deduct that. Doesn't change the fact he's the best linebacker in the draft. Ray Lewis killed a guy and he was pretty good at football

Ray Lewis ALLEGEDLY killed a guy.
Football docs can be assholes. One tried to stop Luther Lavay from playing when he was so close to a big money bonus.

Sounds like he was basically being an a-hole primadonna and pulled out the "Do you know who I am" card to a male nurse that told him to wait in line like everyone else. I'm sorry, I wouldn't take this guy in the 3rd round now. We don't need dumb as dirt primadonnas. Give me Cunningham all day.

When's the last time we had someone with an attitude like that on the time? I wouldn't mind a guy like that wrecking shite. Not paying him to be a nice guy.
Obviously there's a line between that and not doing your job.

He's a middle linebacker. Blow shite up is his job description. He cost himself money but he'll be fine doing his job.

Are you saying that medical doctors are intentionally trying to piss off future NFLers at the Combine?

So he going to be in Stehone Anthony's shoes with a worse attitude if we draft him? This is very telling his personality. Payton supposedly has been clearing his roster of "me first" type guys over the last two seasons. Either way, there is no excuse for Foster's actions if the reports pan out.
As far as Ray Lewis goes, it's on record that he was not envolved in that fight that night and what took place was not murder at all. The two friends that were involved, were proven to be defending themselves. Lewis was too worried about injuring himself to take part in the fight at the peak of his career.

What a moron. I hope we stay away. He just reeks of a player with a low IQ who won't survive as a MLB in the NFL.

If this were the military, I'd agree. I remember those first few days of boot camp, getting questioned and talked down to by corpsemen and everyone else lol. I would doubt NFL would allow this type of behavior from paid help. I truly don't know, so I'll have ask the one guy I know that made it that far and see what his experience was.

Getting poked and prodding and being on display like a slab of meat would be annoying but I'm not sure that equates to intentionally trying to piss players off.
Posted on 3/4/17 at 11:18 am to saintsfan22
Exactly. If that were the case, this would be a common yearly occurrence at the combine but its not.
