MS falling down on the job - LA ranked last...

I know the OT loves to bitch about our home state for some weird reason, so here you go. Disappointed in MS though, they had one job to keep us from being last in these type of rankings and they couldn't even do that.
Who the hell wants to live in any of those "best" places? I have been to all of them and they have some fun things to do but live there? Nope. North Dakota. LoL.

Louisiana is the worst state in the country, according to a new analysis based on health care, education, infrastructure, crime and other quality-of-life measures. U.S. News & World Report, known for annual education, health care and other consumer-focused rankings, launched its first ever "Best States" list Tuesday as part of a new data-driven interactive platform designed to provide insight into how states stack up on various issues.

You question their results for the best but stand behind the results for the worst?
Bold strategy there, Cotton.

Get rid of north Baton Rouge and we jump 5 spots.

Louisiana will never be as shitty as Mississippi. We may never be better than 49th but we will never be 50th.

Did they just make list of states with the least amount of black people to the most?

We're still number 1 in culcha.

Hmm. I never thought that those two would correlate. Interesting observation

I love my state, but maybe I don't know what I'm missing by not living in one of these Top 15 places. I've visited plenty, but is the quality of life truly that much better?

New Hampshire demographics.
Mostly People who get up and go do something* every day.
Wonder why their aggregate health numbers are better?
*does not include sitting on a porch all day

Raging liberalism aside, Washington st is a beautiful place, especially if you like the outdoors.
Finishing a round of golf at 9:10 pm when it's 68 degrees in August? Yep.
Also, I was shocked by the number of people just outside on a Sunday afternoon. Not really doing anything, just being outside. It was refreshing. I played golf on a Thursday afternoon with my BIL and they were launching groups every 7 mins. There was a line. I couldn't believe how many people were on the course.... on a Thursday.

Yeah Boston sucks. You definitely shouldn't come here.

Of course they're going to say those are the "best places."
Its a "news" source. Translation: liberal homos.

I would take major issue with that list
I live here, and there's no way Mass is #1
Texas is #38, and Illinois, home of Chicago, the murder capital, is #29 ??? Invalidates the list entirely, whatever metrics they used

There has been an influx of Mississippi people in the state lately.
