It is the traditional Republicans (globalists) knives in his back that will do the killing.

Deep State don't got no Party.

What do you think? What the hell kind of question is that?

Its a failing world power with nukes. With each passing day western Europe becomes less and less dependent on Russian oil and gas and once that is gone there goes Russia's "economy". Thats it that is the only thing they have to sell.

What are Russia's long-range geopolitical goals?

Dude. Do you think I'm some old guy that just fell off a turnip truck and picked up a 1950s era newspaper or something?

The Russians are a capable military, intelligence, and overall geopolitical threat who regard us as their primary adversary and devote most of their energy in the foreign policy realm to subverting or disrupting our interests and those of our allies. This goes back 70 fricking years. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills when I have to explain to a grown American man why Russia is a threat. They have capability. They have consistent, unambiguous malevolent intent. They are a threat.

I've said it several times on here.

Winning the election was the easy part. It will get a lot worse before it gets better. Keep the faith Patriot.

Except it doesn't. In fact, the opposite is true.

Those who create war never have to be personally involved in it.

They learned from the last 2 World Wars. If we are united and pick a side, that side wins. Best way to neutralize that is to divide us.

Right, because this country was running smoothly until Obama showed up.

Keep playing this juvenile left vs. right game. Your owners depend on it.

There are many capable military powers across the globe.

Why is Russia the bad one?

That's part of it. What's happening is a continual media blitz of negative news (sometimes made up) concerning Trump and his administration unlike anything we've ever seen within the first month of any Presidency. The last time I saw it this bad was during the Clinton years and that was mainly due to Lewinsky and his Impeachment (in other words, toward the end of his second term).

This constant tirade of negative stories (especially the fake ones) is prepping for the 2018 elections to help give Dems a majority in at least one chamber of Congress. The best thing Trump can do right now is focus heavily on getting as much of his agenda pushed through between now and then (much like the Dems did with the ACA and the Stimulus from Jan 2009 until late 2010).

I agree that one man is not enough. However, it has to start with one man.

There's no motiviation for the others to change anything at all. So, here we are.

Because they work against us and our allies. Because if we take position "x" in almost any conflict or negotiation they will, reflexively, take the opposite of x. They still view the world as essentially bipolar and they still view our contest as some zero-sum game. They're wrong on both fronts, of course.

If that short cocksucker of a tyrant they call a president was so goddamned interested in combatting terror, why didn't they suit up with us and the rest of the west (and Japan, many ME and African partners) going back to 2001? Because they didn't give a shite. They likely (and rightly) viewed our preoccupation in the Middle East as an opportunity to start kicking shite up elsewhere. Then, following the Arab Spring and after our shitastic foreign policy began to get even more shitastic, they randomly develop this deep interest in Syria and the preservation of Assad--after we stake out the position of supporting his removal. Now, for the record, I believe we're better off with Assad in power and I support our engagement with Iran, but Russia doesn't give a flying frick about either. They just saw an opportunity to piss in our pond. Because that is literally their only foreign policy objective outside their backyard. Pissing in our pond. We have tried to engage with them in earnest, but it's never going to fricking happen. We will never be partners.
