That article in the Hayride is some scary shite. If Gary gets what he wants, it will be the end of Baton Rouge as we know it. It will be Jackson West or Detroit South. If the new mayor really gives a damn about the city, she will distance herself from Gary and his racism.

He may just fade away on his own. Think of it like going to watch a magician. Once you realize the magician only knows one trick, it takes very little time for you to leave.
He speaks of racially charged things in broad, sweeping terms, with very little factual components. Most of what he says when offering solutions is broad, sweeping rhetoric that offers no plan and no solution.

What is the plan to accomplish this? How much money? Where, specifically, will the money be spent?
My concern is money being pulled from citizens in one area to help those in another will just disappear. No help will be offered beyond lip service.
The status quo will continue with those who do pay and those who don't getting equal shares of nothing.
