Because Hunt has another job, he was only doing it temporarily.
He will still be a weekly guest during baseball season. He was on this morning.

Don't you think the time slot has something to do with that? Majority of people are in their car 3-6pm.

T Bob does good to me. I say keep him

Y'all are miserable fricks, it's been two days. TBob is solid, it takes time to build chemistry.

Moscona thinks his show is the shite bc he gets the highest ratings. That is only because of his timeslot. Put Cullota and the prince there and they would have killed it.

T-Bob isn't cut out to be a sidekick. In order for him to be successful he needs his own show (or one where he's alpha) and he needs to stay the hell away from politics.

Moscona's show is the best local sports show in the region. I'm not going to lie and say I don't listen because he doesn't like TD.

Completely disagree. He has some of the worst guests and segments around.

I listen because its the only local sports show on when I leave work.

the biggest glaring issue I see, is T-Bob doesnt know much about the topic at hand
"really?"
"I dont know"
"I didn't know that!"
If you're going to take a job in BR, for fricks sake, know something about the LSU coaching staff, recruiting, current events, etc

Also, I assume that T-Bob's show on WWL is no more? Was he fired for the political tirade? The timing is awfully peculiar to say the least.
And to answer the question about how some on WWL got jobs in the first place, the answer is politics. Not right-left politics but good ole boy, you scratch my back I'll scratch yours politics.
Hell, they have a mid-day host whose voice is painful to listen to (sounds like he has throat cancer and is talking through a stoma - he doesn't, but it's very hard on the ears). That same host was caught trying to pass off sponsor content as news, except it gets worse. The sponsor wasn't a WWL advertiser, they were donating directly to the host's personal finances in order to get plugs in the form of news. And he got caught, and somehow still has a job.
If you go on YouTube and search for "The Ballad of Garland Robinette", John Osterlind and James Parker did a pretty funny parody song of the whole situation.
That song is the reason John (who is an awesome radio host) has been blackballed from all the major NOLA area stations.
If WWL gave two shits about ratings they would have fired Garland and hired John in his place the day WRNO reformatted.

T-Bob is too silly at times, and yes he lacks knowledge about what's happening with LSU. He does not come across very well. That show will suffer with him as the co-host.

Yeah...only bc of the time slot he is in. Majority of the population of BR is in their car going home between 3-6.
If he had any other time slot he would prolly have the lowest production value on the station.

Say what you want about Hunt but he knows his shite and has an opinion and is not scared to voice it. T-Bob eeeeehhhhhhhh we will see. Cullotta still the man though. Best Sports Talk Radio host in Baton Rouge!
Hunt had really improved during his stay. I enjoyed his opinions even though I didn't agree with him on some (Herman for head coach).
I tuned in both mornings and so far the only subject T-Bob seems to care about is the Pelicans. I couldn't care less about giving time to the NBA. I turned it off. If that is what he brings, then I will find something else to listen to.

Tbob constantly loud caps jordy. Since the show started I haven't heard jordy say a word

Why the switch up on the Cullota show? by TigerGM

I made it 5 minutes listening to him this morning.
He tries way too hard.
