I will take Hunt over pretty much all the 104.5 guys. He is knowledgeable about all LSU sports and that is what I tune in for. Tbob is absolutely awful, he knows nothing about LSU sports outside of football. He tries wayyyy too hard to be funny on radio.
Do these guys make decent money? Was Hunt just not interested in a full time gig? I would guess the 104.5 guys make more than insurance sales men right?

This morning show has taken a huge dive. It's just turrible now. Sad because Collatta & the Prince was my favorite local show since The Fastest Hour and Condon back in the day on 1210

T-Bob always stood out as one of the few who could string two sentences together without a grammatical error.
Maybe he is just pretending to be an idiot on this morning show.

Moscona thinks his show is the shite bc he gets the highest ratings. That is only because of his timeslot.
This is a classic chicken-egg scenario. Are you sure he doesn't have the best time slot because he has the best show? Why would it be any other way?

Can someone please call Moscona's show today asking about a topic they saw on TD? I love it when that happens. He gets sooooo mad.

I agree with a lot of the posters that Jordy is taking a backseat to T-Bob's rhetoric. IMO Jordy thinks that T-Bob is "the man". Jordy has even mentioned that he wants to "ride his coat-tails to the top" before on the show. Even though I know that's probably tongue in cheek.
Jordy is good at keeping the show organized, on topic, and throwing up softballs to people in the know (other than when he was going on his Coach O rants). That's why Hunt was good on the show, he was very knowledgeable and made great points with those said softballs. If T-Bob knows anything about LSU he's keeping it on the DL.

We listen every morning and T-Bob seems like a strange fit for that show. I can't tell if he's trying too hard or that's how he really is. But I think they do need a few months to build chemistry.
Yall don't remember the dark ages, before 104.5...when all we had was Buddy fricking Songy and Jordy Hultberg.
at least we have local sports talk on morning and afternoon drive time

So far, I think Hunt was much better. It's only day two though. I'm gonna give T-Bob a little bit longer before I form an opinion.

I'd prob take Buddy Songy over T Bob.

Yes because Cullota and the Prince wasnt around when Moscona came on. And Sports Today isnt moving from the lunch slot
Moscona has the worst guests and his show just isnt good.

Not a good start at all. I have never listened to T-Bob, so I am only judging by what I have heard the last couple of mornings, and I am not impressed. He cuts Cullota, and the guest off alot, and tries to make jokes that are not funny at all. I would also rather them talk about LSU and leave the Saints and Pelicans out of the show. I hope it gets better because I actually enjoyed tuning in on my way to work.

So does anyone know if T-Bob was fired from WWL, chose to leave willingly or still does an evening show there?
If he in fact was fired (let's face it, he alienated A LOT of listeners when he pulled a 180 and completely shifted gears away from sports and to politics in the last couple of weeks), it could just be nerves that will eventually subside, allowing for chemistry to develop.
I'd give him a few weeks before making a judgment about his presence on 104.5. It's always stressful starting a new job, especially in that line of work.
Where's tzimme when you need him?

Hunt mentioned this morning that he will be doing a weekly LSU Baseball podcast starting next week. Did anyone catch more details about how to listen to this?

ESPN BR recruited him for the gig and is giving him more money. They went over it a bit yesterday on the first show.
Morning in BR is a better time slot for listeners

Might work out well for both sides long-term. T-Bob is actually entertaining when he's operating within his comfort zone and he's discussing sports.
I used to listen to him driving home from my evening classes (long drive, so I got a good bit of listening in).
Then all of a sudden in January he went off the rails and made the show 100% politics --- which is not his forte --- and after a couple of hours of it spread out across a few days I gave up on the show and found something else to listen to during that time.
I imagine being at ESPN will help ensure he stays on topic and talks about what he's good at. I like T-Bob, and certainly hope he succeeds and things work out for him.
