Painful for sure but the future is bright. Glad to have been there and I think DQ is on the right track and will learn from the mistakes that were made.

The 2012 SEC Championship game was worse for me. I am not as into the NFL as I am college ball though.

The Kick 6 hurt like hell.

Everything we had worked for was on the line that day. Literally everything.

Most painful for me personally was the 1985 CWS loss to Miami in the 9th inning, when, if we win, we're in the national championship game. There were a couple of Egg Bowl losses that really stung. I've seen the Dallas Cowboys lose heartbreaking games in my life that hurt, but not when they had a lead in a playoff/Super Bowl game like last night. Falcons fans have to be hurting this morning.

No. I'm also a LSU fan who suffered the 2011 NC game.

USSR losing to a group of college kids at Lake Placid. Hearing the chants of USA,USA! American flags everywhere at the height of the Cold War. So ashamed and embarrassed. It would be like an NBA all star team losing to a team of college aged Soviets in Moscow.

2011 World Series for Texas Ranger fan goes up there.

They had a 2 run lead in 9th, and batter down to his last strike and Cards tied it. F'in back breaker #1.

They had a 2 run lead in 10th, and had batter down to last strike in game, hit, has batter down to last strike, hit again, tying game. F'in back breaker #2 and #3

I'm a grown-arse man and I still get extremely sad/angry when i think about Saints-49ers in 2011.

If you're a falcon fan, is this considered the absolute most gut wrenching loss in the history of sports? O

Absolutely. I've seen a lot of shite as an Atlanta sports fan...that took the cake.

You apparently don't know about The Drive or The Interception or The Fumble.

Remember the speed skater in the Olympics around 88 or 92. He was the best in the world. His sister dies while he is there. He falls every race he was in while leading going into the final turn.
It was brutal to watch.

Dan Jansen was his name

Some rookie no name was about to win the Indy 500 in 2011 and he wrecked out on the final turn before the finish line.
