The recent injuries have tempered my expectations just a bit. But, I'm trying to stay positive here.

The way Brennan Breaux has been performing in the outfield, that would be my guess to fill the role of Deichmann for the first couple of games or weeks, depending on the severity of the recovery time from his surgery.

Deichmann is DTD, possibly playing as a DH this weekend to get in some AB's. That's what I heard from LSU

If Deichmann really is D2D, then I feel like that's great news that he's not that hurt. Really sucks that he likely won't get the OOC games to adjust to RF. Good opportunity for Breaux to earn a spot, though. Always nice to have a deep and flexible OF.
