I plan to start this year on some of the WMA in Georgia. I have no idea what I'm doing so it should be interesting learning from mistakes.

don't worry, come turkey season I guarantee you'll start seeing more deer and less turkey

FACT!
I was a little buzzed when I posted this last night. Sitting on deer stand and heard turkeys and remembered oh shite I posted about this last night, lol.

I think I'm going to give it a try on my lease this year.
It will be my first time but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express the other night...

Those suckers are all over at my lease

There used to be a few guys on the old Mathews forums that would travel around and kill the Grand Slam with a bow every year.

Saving up my leave to fly home in April to hunt AL, MS and TN for two weeks then back to SD to hunt. Is it bad that I try to plan all my PCS's around turkey hunting?

First year in a long time not to have a private place to chase them. Will definitely make 3 or 4 different states this year. Have done as many as 5 in the past. If anyone needs someone to call in MS or Louisiana, I will throw my services in here.

Trying to work my way toward 48 state slam, but don't have as much travel time as in the past.
