Same here. Central MS and the MS Delta. Always called crappie.

Saving up my leave to fly home in April to hunt AL, MS and TN for two weeks then back to SD to hunt. Is it bad that I try to plan all my PCS's around turkey hunting?
Haha. I've lived in the south my whole life till last August. I got tired of the heat. The cold ain't bad, below 20 degrees you can't tell a difference, it's just cold. Hope y'all kill a bunch down there. I spanked em good up here lol

Ice is about 4 inches thick here. That pretty much ends the duck huntin up here. It was awesome before it iced up though
maybe next year they will have the normal Halloween blizzard to help out. Been a oddly warm fall up here from what I've been told.
Did y'all leave already? Winds blowin 40 and there's 3-5+ inches predicted tonight. Y'all are gonna miss all the fun
Been up for 30. Bout to load up the kayak and find some perch. Yellow perch. Waters too cold for crappie in some of the lakes up here.
10-4. I'll try to stay in the loop a little better and maybe we can get something lined up next year.
Let me know next time y'all come up. Moved to rapid city from Shreveport back in August and have wanted to go pheasant huntin'. Y'all are only about 3.5 hours away

Was at that one with my uncle. I remember him saying that's the first time he has seen refs literally run from the field when it was over. People around us were about to climb out of the stands to get the refs.
