I'm trying to be optimistic as I'm going to New Orleans tomorrow. I assume if shite blows up in BR it'll overflow, yeah?

It's possible, but unlikely. It would probably all be contained on BR.

Police requested a 2 week notice and they were hopeful that the DOJ would honor that request. No guarantee they will get it.

I'd think any rioting, looting, etc. would be contained to BR. Protests are definitely possible in NO though.
