If he builds on what he has at the end of the season, then yes.

20 is a ton of homers these days.

Hope the young man stays healthy going forward. He struggled with a foot injury most of last year. He has the ability to hit at least 15 HR. Be great if he also hits for a great avg.

Yes.

Gonna be a big season for Tigers baseball.

Its Omaha-or-bust time for Manieri.

I say no. The 1997 rocket launcher bats aren't showing up on an equipment delivery anytime soon.....

A lot depends on who protects Deichmann in the order and how much teams respect the guy behind him.

Let's hope Marnieri doesn't predict him to hit 20. Last year he said deichmann could steal 30-35 bases. He stole 5.

20 is a big number with today's bats but he has the power to do it. Depends on how disciplined he can be and has to stay out of slumps.

I hope he does. If we make it back to Omaha, I think we have to keep Manieri. There's no way he gets fired if we make it. Even if we get sent home. Firing a baseball coach and having to start a search isn't something LSU can handle right now.

Depends in large part on whether or not pitchers are able to throw around him in order to face the next guy in the lineup.

A good hitter might see one pitch per at bat he can drive if the opposing team has no fear of the next hitter.

If he's protected he could hit 15 or more out of the park.
