Exercise and losing weight question

Hey guys. Over the last year and a half I've gone from 185ish to around 160(5'10). I've done so by adding a ton of elyptical cardio to my regimen and no longer working out chest. Now I just workout legs, arms, shoulders abs and back. People can tell I've lost a lot of weight but my stomach and chest are still problem areas for me. Especially with tight shirts
What should I do? I eat fairly healthy but rely on the exercise more to lose weight

Less cardio, maybe no cardio. Lift, eat more. Seriously.
ETA: You're 160 pounds. If your stomach and chest are "problem areas" the solution isn't to lose more weight. You need to add muscle.

Why do you not work out chest?

I just posted this another thread on the first page.
And your post is pretty much exactly what I was talking about.

It just seems people get tunnel vision and think all that matter is "weight loss". They see fats as the enemy when really fats are your friend. People who become obsessed with the scale start playing a dangerous game, imo. If you're not careful, you can become really unhealthy really quick. Follow a good diet plan and use a tape measurer instead of a scale. The scale is helpful, but it's not everything.

Drop the cardio and start lifting. And why in the hell would you stop doing chest?

Try adjusting your schedule so you are busy at the times you now eat, especially snacks or desserts.

So you want to look like a weakling?

You need to start lifting. If you still want cardio maybe do UFC gym or some crossft shite. Cross fit is a bit expensive. UFC gym has weights and they'll wear you out in a different way. I'm the same size as you. I went from 185 to 160 and dropped my waist significantly. Started lifting and now I weigh 185 with the same smaller waistline. Diet is key also. No soda, no bad sugars and no fried is a good start.

Invest in a sit-up machine --
Add a shite ton of push-ups.
In 4-6 months your stomach will disappear and your shoulders will be better than ever.
If you want strong forearms, invest in one of these --
And, one of these will help your forearms and your shoulders and is easy to make (they do have commercial models) --
Just go to home depot and get a 14 inch piece of round wood cut and ask them to drill a hole right in the center. I think mine cost about $2. Just add some cheap dumbbell and your set.
If you put 10 lbs. on the rope, the first time you do it, you might be able to do 2 sets (roll up and down). You'll eventually work your way up. Your forearms will be BURNING.

go read the 531 big but boring challenge and do the damn program for atleast 6 months. then do the 531 monolith challenge for 6 months. After that go read leangains and do that for the rest of your life.
and WTF does not working out chest have to do with losing weight? you lose weight by being calorie deficient. Cut the BS cardio and get to sprinting, carrying heavy shite, flipping heavy stuff, jump rope, boxing, sled pushes/pulls or hiit on the airdyne or rower.
If you do what the 531 program says including the diet and conditioning work you will get great results. If you are gaining too much fat, cut carbs back on the days you don't lift and do more conditioning work.
looking good is pretty damn simple
1) don't be fat, so burn more then you eat
2) keep protein high
3) go long periods without eating(intermittent fasting) and move around during this period.
4) lift heavy shite and get stronger
5) Sprint
pretty damn simple. Its the consistency part that gets people.

Steroids. Take them. Not forever, just to get over that hump. Do it illegally or find a dr that doesn't mind giving test bumps.
