So the fact that mannings division was poop for most of his career will be ignored? Aren't the jags in his division? That's two wins automatically lol.

I love Brees, but to me, the turnovers are gonna be what keeps him from being a top 2-3 QB perception wise.
Brady & Manning 2.4%
That's negligible, so that seems more like a myth based on the data, no?

brees is a system qb. He puts up alot of yards, but never many wins.

The fact people overlook just how god awful the Saints defense is when talking Brees is impressive. Historically bad defenses. If you gave him a 15-20 defense for his run in NOLA they'd rarely miss the playoffs.
To be fair as well, he has had a 2x all pro receiver in Jimmy Graham. I don't care if the NFL called him a TE.
Fact is, if Brees were on the Pats, Boys, Steelers, 49ers, Eagles, Packers putting up these numbers, the media would be all over his nuts. The national media just doesn't care about the Saints. They don't draw.

From another thread:
Currently leading the league in completions, attempts, completion percentage, touchdown passes, and yards (with a 76.2% completion over the last 6 games)
Well on his way to another 5000+ yard, 40+TD, 70%+ season. No one is history has done this other than Brees (2011) and he is about to do this for the SECOND time.
To put this in perspective: Only 5 QBs in history have thrown for 5000 yards in a season. The other 4 have only done it once. Brees is about to do it for the FIFTH time alone. Only 8 QBs in history have thrown for 40+ TDs in season (10 total times) and Brees is about to accomplish this for the THIRD time (most ever). 70% completion has only been accomplished by 6 different QBs (7 times total none active other than Brees) and Brees is about to accomplish this for the THIRD time.
Passing for 33+ TDs as only have 58 times total in history and Brees is about to accomplish this for the NINTH STRAIGHT season.
Brees is also only one of three QBs in history to have a career passer rating of over 100 in the playoffs (Bart Star and Kurt Warner are the only other two).
No one in history sniffs his last 11 year run. We have never seen a QB play at this level for so long. If he stays healthy and doesn't retire early he will demolish the TD record, the yards record, the completions record, and the completion percentage record.
All without ever having an all-pro WR.
We are witnessing tGOAT.

Manning revolutionized the QB position with presnap stuff

Why do you have to shite on Manning to put up Brees? Personally, I love them both.
There's a 100 other QBs to compare to.

I don't get it either. It's like people have to defend their guy by invalidating their peers. In this era we are witnessing 3 or possibly 4 all time greats (Manning, Brady, Brees and Rodgers assuming he stays healthy and is productive the rest of his career). They're all good and their accomplishments can stand on their own, no reason to bring down the other guys when defending any of them

4th quarter comebacks. Manning is 1st. Brees is 10th.
I'm pretty sure Brees is 1st all time in 4th quarter comebacks that then resulted in other team scoring again... Saw that very recently I think on here.

The "system" of competing 70 percent of your passes? If this system is so productive and easy to run, why do more "above average qbs" not run it?

Like Peyton when he had to run kubiak's system in 2015. Yeah, he's not a system QB

Manning an Brady would both be lucky to win a Super Bowl in NO.
Brees would be just as successful as either QB in NE, IND, or DEN.

How many teams in that division have been to the Super Bowl again? Going back to when manning was in the division. I'll hang up and listen.
