Give me any reasons why Peyton will be considered to have the better career over Brees. I don't see Peyton being the better career QB. He lost a lot of important playoff games, one of his SB was on the back of a really good defense. Drew's stats will match or better Peyton at the end of their careers. Just curious to see how everyone else view this

Brees is a Hall of Famer but no quarterback in history has the resume of accomplishments Peyton has.

The most Pro Bowls

The most MVPs

The most All Pro nods

The most Touchdowns

The most yards

The most game winning drives

The most franchises led to a super bowl title

Etc etc

You knock Peyton losing playoff games, yet he played in 27 of them. Brees has played 11.

Brees will have more yards AND more TD than Manning when Brees' career is over

Manning has 2 SBs.

One is one the back of 2 RBs, good defense, and shitty Bears.

The other is due to fricking bad-arse defense.

Brees has 1 over Manning. Manning INT helped seal the deal.

Brees will still be carrying the Saints into his 40's. Manning limped his way arse backwards into a 2nd Super Bowl.

Brees has NEVER played with an All Pro wide receiver! Let that sink in for a minute!

He really sucks. Just not good at all. Saints would be the same with Trent Dilfer or Matt Cassel at quarterback.

Am I doing this right?

With the record setting worst defenses of all time that they have had the last several years 8-8 seasons are impressive. Without Brees the Saints would have been a 2-14 or so team. Even the year that they won the championship the Saints' defense was ranked 20th. But as irrational and unfair as it is people will always judge a quarterback by team statistics. There is no convincing some people otherwise. The reason that they came to that conclusion in the first place is that they aren't using sound thinking. What is it that they say about arguing with stupid people?

Brees is riding Mark Ingram's 5.3ypc coat tails.

Why does this really matter in the grand scheme? Who cares what a bunch of biased writers think? And i"m not saying Manning didn't deserve these or the writers are even biased towards him, I just mean in general.

I'll put it this way, look at the career numbers, the ones that actually matter. If you look at completion %, TD%, INT%, and YPA...Brees is every bit as good as Manning, so how do you explain away having 0 MVPs compared to a few for Manning with almost identical career numbers?

The most Touchdowns

The most yards

The most game winning drives
Brees will pass 2 of these, and probably at least get somewhat close on game winning drives.

In the end, i'm just saying it's not as wide a gap as many think IMO. And Brees is still chugging along.

Spreads it around too much to make a guy a Pro Bowler. Good and bad.
