Truth. And it says a lot about how awful the workers are at BK. I won't ever eat at those places.
CFA is always busy. One would think Wendy's might try the concept of having decent service, even if it means paying a dollar more per hour.

you haven't been to the Chick Fil A on College in Baton Rouge

This has honestly never ever happened. I've had to wait maybe one time longer than I expected in my one millions trips.

Were you afraid that he might capsize?
I wonder how many people don't get that one.

Damn. You were standing right next to Varasano's Pizzeria, which has some of the best pizza in the country right there in the airport. They get the pie out fast too.
40 min layover. I get Varasanos when I have more than an hour. Agreed on the pizza. Best restaurant in ATL

They also employ many retarded ('disabled') people in their restaurant. They want to be there and try to do a great job, it's very encouraging for kids to see them and understand what they / Chick Fil A are all about.
A very good friend of mine has a sister who is very low IQ. She is employed by Chick Fil A as a "dining room attendant." They do a great job of giving menial tasks to otherwise unqualified folks. She would have a lot of difficulty getting a job elsewhere. The restaurant scored major points in my book when I found out this was common practice.

The one on Siegen has a diverse staff. And I saw a young black dude -- had to be a manager -- SPRINT when a kid spilled a Coke in the play area.
I always figure they tap churches for the employee pool. And the fact that you know you get Sundays off to do whatever helps with hiring.

Even here in Tacoma, our CFA found the best kids to do the job. They're kickin arse up here in the Seattle area. My boss hates them and I silently enjoy her tears.
The local CFA are using young youth groups to help out and those young kids are great

That's one way to say it.

I think I finally found the first ghetto Chick-fil-A. The one that recently opened on Clearview Parkway in Elmwood is far and away beyond the type of service I'm used to from a Chick-fil-A. Maybe it was the day I visited, but the day I went it seemed like the staff was trained by McDonald's management.

The one in Alexandria off MacArthur is the worst chick fil a I've ever been to. It's like a McDonald's hired for that one.

I agree. It used to be decent but I haven't had the best experiences the past few times going there. Normally just go to the Mall location.

I worked at one when I was a freshman in high school. The training is far different from any other job I've had. They have you watch a dozen different videos and go hard on how to be polite and efficient. They also lean heavily on cleanliness of. Out the store and the employees. During our breaks we had to watch random training videos if we were in the break room. I wish I stayed the entire four years and got that Berry College scholarship though

You have to start at the bottom and work up. Reddit was saying an average of 10 years before you even get a chance to apply for one.
This isn't true. If you are selected as an owner operator they train you for every position but you don't actually have to quit your job and be a counter worker to apply for it.
The interview process is 8-9 rounds with 3 being interviews in Atlanta. They also call everyone you've ever worked for, your pastor or priest, etc. From what I've heard about FBI background checks I'd say that CFA is more thorough.
As far as the 10 year rule this is for you to be considered to open a second location. They go through all of your sales numbers, community involvement records, and owner operator assessments to determine if you could handle it and maintain standards and quality.

The Popeye's on the corner of Boulevard & Ponce De Leon in ATL has surprisingly great service given the surroundings.

All I know is that Spanish chick has had Millerville's window service on lock the past 4 years!

They offer a good bit of education assistance to their employees so their target demographic for those employees is exactly what you stated-intelligent young people (regardless of race) who want to go to college and need some help doing so.

The one near me is pretty diverse (after 5 is when I go) but, still the same great service and the same hot clientele.

They usually recruit church youth groups when they open to staff at first. Then those kids tell their friends, etc.
