Love the one close to our house...

Always clean.
"My pleasure" always sounds sincere.
Food is always hot and fresh.
Drive through line is super fast.

My location is about 90% white female workers.

They are extremely selective about who they let franchise one. It doesn't matter if you have all the money in the world to open one, they only allow the best of the best.

Yep. In my opinion, this is the difference-maker.

That is the company principles at work. It's not about money first.

The customer experience comes first. And that starts with impeccable service and friendly employees.

If you put the customer first, the money will follow naturally.

It is not a race issue. It is management's commitment to not tolerating bad workers, particularly those with a bad attitude. Individuals with a good work ethic and attitude don't want to work with those that don't. Keeping the bad employees runs off the good employees.

Most of the What-A-Burgers in Shreveport have mostly black crews, but I always have received good service there. Why? They don't put up with bad employees.

We just got a chick fil a that opened down in Kalispell 2 weeks ago. The quality is meh right now, but they hired over 100 workers for the grand opening.

This motherfricker right here is driving from Spokane to get some of it this weekend.

Also, we're supposed to be getting a Popeye's here soon. Living in the NW sucks, foodwise.

If anyone around the Birmingham area has heard of Restoration Academy, I saw a short video the other day where CFA had them come to corporate HQ in Atlanta. These are predominantly low income black students who have been given a chance at a great private education in Fairfield. It is a Christian school, and from the video the field trip focused on core values, work ethic, and opportunities within the company. If anything, it made me feel like the company is going out of their way to incorporate diversity in the work force. The difference is that they hold everyone to a high standard.

And someone mentioned they are one of the best run companies. I'd have to agree. I knew a girl from back home that worked in the CFA in our local mall in High School. She was also an accounting major, and she got an internship or some type of job after graduation in Undergrad. I think she was planning on coming back to grad school with the rest of us to get her MBA and pursue Public Accounting, but that next semester when she wasn't in class, one of our classmates said she had been hired on full time at corporate. What started as a part time job after school when she was 16 ended up being a career position 6 years later.

They don't like absentee owners either. The max number of franchises that someone can own is 2.

They might as well be company-owned stores. The franchisee is really just a glorified GM. Oh, and the workers are good because they recruit from churches. So they're all nerds. I don't even like going into a Chick Fil A because they workers are so creepily nice.

The one I frequent is large majority white employees.

Kinda reflective of the actual national population.

The real question is why McDonalds and such hire so few white employees.

Buddy of mine tried to get his own store as an operator (they don't call them franchisees). He had all the credentials and had managed a store for several years prior. Great guy with a very solid background and references.

Except for one minor problem. He and his wife had divorced prior to his application and interview in ATL. Instant disqualifier.

When I did my mission in Southern California they were opening new restaurants there. They took hiring very seriously. Brought in a whole team from Georgia and panel to find their staff. They affiliated with the church I was doing my mission with and picked a few of us, myself included, to serve on their hiring panel.

They treated hiring their staff like a corporation would hiring an executive level position.

I was at the chick fil a at a mall in Orlando mall food court last week. I received my order and sat down at the opposite end of the huge food court. About ten minutes later an employees comes up to me and asks if she can refill my drink, from way on the other side of the food court. That type of service is what always makes me return to chick fil a, and the awesome food. The one near my house has the manager walk patrons to and from their cars with an umbrella on rainy days.
