The Rock talks about his time with Coach O

"There was an accountability there, and Coach Orgeron was a big part of that. In games it seemed as if those offensive linemen were holding us on every play. Coach didn't care. I complained one time, and he got in my face and said, 'They can hold you, they can kick you in the balls, they can f------ spit in your face—are you going to cry about it or are you going to overcome that and make the play?' That's bigger than football, man. That's a whole worldview."

he needs to give that speech to his detractors

Ed already told you people he failed once by acting like a D-line coach when he was the HC. A speech like that is perfectly appropriate for a D-line coach. Head Coach needs to be in the Ref's ear if his guys are getting held.

I would love for the Rock to have a real connection with LSU through coach O. What a great person to have around our program.

And the Rock is important to LSU football because....?

I feel quite the opposite. He needs speeches like that to motivate and inspire his players. That should be a big part of his job. Not only does he need to lead like that, but he ALSO needs to be in the ref ears as well. It isn't one or the other... it's both.

The rock played football at the U. He was coached by a guy named Ed Orgeron. Not sure if you heard of him, but he's our new head coach. The rock is giving him a positive review. Dumbass
