One thing I noticed about Bird.Even between foot issues he struggled with mediocre fastballs. Not sure he will hit but hope he at least has a chance to stay healthy.

If done right travel baseball is very beneficial to a child's development of their skills.Baseball is a game that you get better with repetition. While on the subject of youth sports the person who brought soccer to this country should have been beaten with a baseball bat. It serves no purpose except to keep the kids in shape for baseball. It is the sport of the ADHD generation and has gotten in the way of my baseball practices multiple times.
