I really don't understand the people trying to discredit Lane K. as a o.c.

I read thread after thread about he isn't any good. This simply isn't true.
1) Do I wish he was more mature and likeable? Absolutely. The Hate/dislike aside. He's pretty darn good.
2) l.k. has been the o.c. at two different universities that have won n.c.'s.
3) He is an outstanding recruiter. He secured Hurt's, who is a pretty good freshman. He has the #1 d.t. qb committed in Tua. He also got the l.t. commit that is a five star. (haven't these two area's been a problem at lsu?) He was the recruiting coordinator at usc when they secured some of the most talented teams in the country.
4) His one season at Tennessee he took an underman team with, Jonathan Crompton as qb, and came within one play, blocked f.g. by cody, of beating a n.c., saban coached, Alabama team.
5) His offensive statics are skewed at bama. When they are up 35 to 3,7, 10 or whatever. They don't have to score more points. They shut it down and play clock. You don't have to put 50 up and 800 yards offense to win games. you have to do that when you don't have a defense.
I'm not a fan of L.K. the person or should I say, what appears to be the person. However, you have to put your distain to the side and recognize he's pretty good at what he does and can help elevate lsu. He's done it for to long at to many places. This isn't just about offense. It's about offense and obtaining talent to compete for championships. he can do both.

Tosh Lupoi and Bo Davis are/were the main recruiters for Tua and Hurts.

yeah, that's why I didn't spell, o.c., n.c., d.t., q.b. etc. I know you would say tldr.
I do know how to spell douche bag, though.

His name is spelled incorrectly more than it is spelled correctly on this site

And I really don't understand the people that think Kiffin is going to leave Bama to be OC for LSU.
Just like I didn't understand why Fisher would leave FSU for LSU.

I'm not. I think the dude is good at his job. I'm just discrediting him as a human.
Don't know bout y'all, but I feel my university has taken enough black eyes over the last year. Orgeron needs to hire outside his comfort zone. Don't want the good ole boy club forming back up

He's a very solid QB developer and when he's on, he's on. He does have a tendency to go away from things that are working in games though.
Still, he would be a MASSIVE improvement at LSU.

Well, for one, he's going to need a job in 2017 and it doesn't seem that Bama is going to be an option. If he doesn't get a HC job soon then his best option between unemployment and LSU OC will be LSU OC making $2M+. Not too hard to understand, really.

He is a good oc. Anyone that says he isnt is letting off the field things issues cloud their opinion.
Most lsu fans hate him becaue of Janzen Jackson. They need to really let that go. We dodged a huge bullet( pun intended) with that.

I've seen several reasons why people don't want Kiffin, like he'll bolt for a HC job soon, his playcalling or he's a jerk. I haven't seen many posters argue he isn't any good at his job.
