I hope the kid is a superstar, but let's stop proclaiming him as the answer until we see him play a snap.

But I know how this works. A group of fans will latch on to him based on high school tape and want him at QB no matter what our win loss record is.

Have we offered this guy yet?

Yes we have. And you'll be happy to know he signed with us. Been on the roster since last year.

Kid's a threat both running and throwing the ball and by all accounts has it all mentally.

Not to mention he has an awesome work ethic and is constantly trying to improve his game.

Man if he was 6'3 perfect, but you gotta see what he does. He's heady for sure I love fb players like this. They actually run the offense, this is what we need. Guys like him but that are 6'4 to create throwing lanes.

What are the chances Scott signs with LSU? Is he and early enroll? If we sign Narcisse does Scott sign elsewhere?

Yes, of course.
SCott is "the answer" and the only answer.
He's from Louisiana .
HE was great in the playoffs!
He sounds like us.
Being the QB at LSU is his passion and lifelong dream.

Not to be pessimistic, but on like 95% of those throws, he is staring his target down from the get go. Could be problematic doing that in the SEC

Said last summer that if they'd start LS Day One as a freshman he would become the greatest LSU QB of all time.

I've watched a lot of his film. He's got wheels but he doesn't come out trying to demonstrate that he can run. He looks poise and aware with the ball, he runs through each of his progressions quickly and makes good decisions. When the time is right, he does very well at navigating the backfield, making a decision and most importantly just gaining yards. Schools like Harvard wanted him, he's a smart kid.

This will be the most interesting offseasons we've had in years. I'm really excited to see what goes on and plan on being at that spring game

I love Lindsey Scott! Really think he has an ideal mindset for a dual threat: throw first mentality, eyes downfield and scrambles to stay alive to make the pass. If his arm strength improves he'll be able to drive those deep balls in that we're floating in high school. He should also be more decisive of a passer. Lots of good things in him though.

Fact. Scott does what others are unwilling to do.

His work ethic and studying reminds me of Peyton Manning.

It's been said here before, but is worth repeating: he is a champion, and he didn't just "natural talent" his way to that position.

Maybe, but I have serious reservations about any QB recruited and signed by Les and Cam.

Yes he has a good arm, yes he can run and is shifty.

What sets Scott apart is his accuracy on throws and his smarts. If he gets the chance to start, LSU won't regret it.

The "Kid's" are enamored with all the High School DT QB's, that is until they step foot on campus and can't handle the mental or physical aspects of LSU/SEC football.

Nobody has any idea if Lindsay Scott will be another Brandon Harris or not................

According to reports from practice and the scrimmage mentioned earlier, he handled our SEC defense just fine. He'll get his chance next season.

I get it. I'm excited to see what the kid can do too, but can we please stop putting all of our eggs in one basket. The reality is the kid is a hair under 6' and was a three star. Can he overcome his height disadvantage? Can he surprise people and out play his recruiting ranking? Sure. But, it's far more likely he turns out to be average to below average.

I hope he wins heismans here, but we can't rely on that. We need an elite QB in this class if we are going to shake our QB woes.
