Sure, but you have to have good players to win. And most recruits want and need the support of their families mostly their moms. And as competitive as recruiting is everybody is looking for an advantage. And those recruiting against you are looking for every negative.

It's good to see there are still a few sane Tiger fans left. LSU has always been my 2nd favorite SEC school. I always had respect for Miles because you could tell he was a good genuine person. And even seeing Ed O a hometown boy get his dream job was cool to see. Even though I thought LSU could have gotten a higher profile proven head coach. But if there a fans wanting Briles no matter his past, and I know it really doesn't matter, but I would lose every bit of respect I have for your prestigious university. I have 2 daughters. 1 is a freshman in college and real men are supposed to be protectors of women. Y'all can do better.

Without even getting into a comparison of the behavior, I guarantee you all will balk at the idea that a drunk and a womanizer is not negative recruiting fodder in these Christian boys' homes.
