I've seen LSU play three good teams under him. Alabama, Florida, and A&M. He's 1-2. I judge him most on these games.

I'm not giving him too much credit for Ole Miss and Arkansas. Both are terrible.

Don't pick and choose. The words offense and record in the same sentence is difference enough.

When his team is up 10 pts. I don't think O will tell the OC to pump the brakes. O will turn the OC loose and tell him to puts up points on every possession.

Les goes up 10-14 and is satisfied with 3 short runs and a punt.

Seriously! I recall back-to-back-to-back offensive record performances in his first 3 games.

Against three putrid teams. The two elite defenses, they put up a grand total of 10 points. Both games were at home too....

During the last drive of the Florida game, we had clock management. Three plays, Two timeouts.

Your not getting it. You asked to compare Miles and "O". Miles would not have set any record against any team.

You're concerned with how our offense looked after we replaced our OC mid season with someone who hasn't called plays in years while still working out of a terrible playbook and system with a Purdue QB?

we had some offensive records under Miles, baw

it seems like 50 years ago, but it happened. then miles got set in his ways

Orgeron is a lesser version of Miles (and that's coming from me). to act like he won't be stubborn in time is irrational. the very top/elite guys are basically the only ones who don't get into that mentality (and O ain't a Saban/Meyer)

What was different about those games? How did we lose them because of something O did (or didn't) do?

that argument goes both ways

either we look at the offense as a selling point or we discount it for what i just quoted

you don't get to cherry pick the good and ignore the bad as a selling point

O is more progressive. He is adaptable. Miles never was

Yes, it's probably a flawed sample size either way. Did the offense not seem generally different (improved?), though?

well the defenses we faced had a pulse and required Xs and Os and gameplanning to beat them

what our offense did against absolutely putrid defenses is not a selling point for O

Ensminger isn't an OC and our offense will be totally different next year

this is a poor gauge considering the time Miles and Co had spent in the offseason and start of this season putting in their packages.

Miles antiquated views on WR and OL have been a big problem too.
