Best OC in college football by what metric? He has the most talented OL in college football. Bama seems about the same as they've always been.
He takes First Year QB's and wins National Championships with them. He adapts the Offense to their skill set.

Would like to see him Coach Up Etling, Scott and Brennan in 2017.

Pay him the $$$$$$$$ and bring him in, along with one of Bama's OL Coach's. (They have two)

Sure he has a shot. Do we want to go back to the buddy system with the HC and OC?

O on possible hiring Lane Kiffin: "All I'm going to say is I'm going to go out and get the best coordinator in football."

He'd be a damn fool to walk away from a dynasty for a lateral move. He'll get a head coaching job. He can't raise his stock any at LSU instead of Bama.

People didn't say Orgeron didn't have a shot, most feared that he did. Most people said Orgeron shouldn't have a shot. There's a difference.

i wouldn't mind kiffin but i'm leery of kiffin being kiffin b/c he won't have a real authority figure over him. plus paying him $2M/year is pure insanity. if we keep aranda and hire kiffin (both around $2M/year), we're basically going to have 3 head coaches

how could that ever blow up?

I think Kiffin is a HC next season and would not be surprised he ends up at Oregon next year.

I agree with that potential scenario. But he still isn't making a lateral move. He'll end up with a power 5 job.

Kiffin is not coming folks!

If you were Kiffin...

Would you take a lateral SEC job for 2 mil per year or would you like to get back to being a HC for the same amount money, if not more?

Maybe we should hire art Briles. So we can finally rape Alabama.

I wouldnt be surprised if Kiffin ends up at Arizona after they fire Rich Rodriguez this week. Kiffin is a west coast guy at heart. Houston may offer him as well. You guys are crazy if you think this guy will pass up a HC job to come coach under Orgeron.

I just don't understand why Kiffin would want to leave Bama, where he'll likely he coming off a national championship, to take the same position here. It makes no sense.

Who are the Alabama fans that even like Kiffin?

No Narcisse? He's the best prospect of them all.
