Think about that Joe and O supporters.

They honestly don't care. They think they know best, and it's a case of "what's the worst that could happen?"

I don't think they understand the ramifications of not getting this right.

Its been explained to them in every way possible.

Look at the improvement between miles and Orgeron. Night and day.

This is your problem. you're using Les as your baseline instead of comparing to other candidates.

Do you not think herman, jimbo, or even aranda could've beat the Crap out of the teams we've played. I have zero doubt Herman or jimbo would have beat Bama.

So you'll leave in the first qtr rather then at the half?

People are really underestimating just how incompetent Les Miles was around here. Instead of praising Ed O for how much he's turned the program around, look at it from the perspective of how stagnant the culture was at LSU. Orgeron just injected some life into these players. That's less about him and more about the previous regime.

New life?
Would a Miles coached team had beaten those opponents and lost to Bama with just 125 yards of offense and no points? Yes
Here ya go:
LSU rush offense is ranked 21 with getting shite on by Bama
Here is the new energy
Southern Miss - 65
Arkansas - 104
Missouri - 109
Ole Miss - 114

Would LSU still played great defense? Absolutely. This provides the offense more opportunities to score. Think about the southern Miss game. It was tied at 10 at the half. Why? We eventually wore them out as they were small on the dline.
Why are people putting so much hype into ICEO? Look at the facts!

He will be one of the lowest paid head coaches in the SEC, if not the lowest. That's real.

And the results will probably be commensurate with the pay scale.

I'm not putting myself through it. Not again, not now when they can have any coach they want. I put up with them fricking around through the Miles years thinking there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Little did I know it was a train. If LSU does this, they're dead to me.

BYE Felica, LSU doesn't need bandwagon fans anyway. I find it funny that who on here would have traded Miles for O 3 years ago. It has become pretty apparent that O is a much better coach than Miles.

Yep. I wouldn't say dead to me, but it'll definitely change my perspective on how we as fans really need to view our football program. It ought to open many questions about our commitment and why ticket prices/any other way to make a dollar keep getting increased when clearly administrations focus is not on winning championships.

Years of miles has led me to being apathetic. I'd hoped for the best, but if this is the direction we go, then I'll just continue to lose interest. Not a big deal I know, but I'd imagine a lot of other folks will quit spending money to support it too.

The best I can say is maybe we won't have to sit through 8 plus years of it like we did with leslie. We will be doing this again in 3 years and I'll be hopeful then too.

what has leaked out that is giving so many the idea that o is going to be named Head Coach? TIA

nothing. absolutely nothing. this is just the typical pre melt that LSU fans go through when a big event is on the horizon. they have no clue who our coach is going to be.

The facts are Miles' offense couldn't put away Miss St. when they had the opportunity and lost to Auburn (because he felt they needed to reduce the calls going into that game).

IMO, Miles would've still found a way to lose 2 of 3 to Arkansas, Florida, and Ole Miss because there was no killer instinct in the team. He almost always let opponents hang around in games.

It's jaw dropping to me that people want O as the head coach.
