That's pretty much what they used to bring the USS Cole back from Yemen.

We've used Dockwise to ship everything from small crew boats to large hopper barges and river line boats to South Ameica and Nigeria. Pretty cool to watch one of these loaded down heading down river.

Nat geo did a documentary on this a few years ago, pretty crazy! The sweetest part is the loading, and unloading of the ship's. The barge sinks to allow the loading of the yachts.
