Is Fournette the most exciting player in LSU history?

He is to me, without a doubt, although I'm younger and don't remember much anything prior to the 2000's.
Anytime he's got the ball, he's a threat to take it to the house. With that breakout speed, comes a ferocious running style. Almost every game he throws a defender to the ground or trucks them, making them look like a child.

I'd say the best overall player in LSU history. TM7 was pretty damn exciting too

I would have to put PP7 on the same level with LF7, even though he played defense, those punt & kickoff returns were always heart pumping events.

This must be what USC fans felt like every time Reggie Bush touched the ball

Kevin Faulk to me is the most exciting. Could do it all on the field. Special teams and running ball and catching ball out of backfield. He helped to make LSU relevant and exciting. Fournette is a pure beast as a runner and when he gets going, he gets dominant. No one should want to tackle him when he gets rolling.
Honey Badger and Patrick Peterson were exciting players as well that can be included in this list.

No. History is a long time. But the most exciting player in my lifetime is Tyrann Mathieu, and it ain't close.

A lot of people forgot about Leonard.
People acted like he was "dead".
Leonard went full "Jason FKIN Voorhees" last night.
He cannot be killed.
He's such a violent badass.

Does the Pope crap in the woods? Is a bear Catholic?

Mathieu
LF
Reed
for me.
TM was so crazy because I'd never seen a defensive player so good that it felt like we were on offense when he was out there.

Mean lean running machine. The guy is a beast.

LF7 is the most exciting we have ever had end of story. I love KF3 but LF7 is in another planet. He is a once in a generation type player much like Casanova. His #7 should be retired when he leaves. Dude just shattered the single game rushing record with ease. He could have had 320 in that game last night with 7-8 more touches.

Him, honey badger, and Faulk are the biggest in my lifetime.
