I watch the SEC Network as much as anyone and all I see is a guy that loves LSU and wants the BEST for LSU. He was correct about Les Miles last year and this year and hiring Coach O would be simply settling for him, when there much bigger fish out there to reel in!

He is realistic and loves LSU. He would not be good at his job if he did not call them honestly... Especially about his alma mater

Booger is right and that upsets some.
But Booger is more LSU than those people anyway.

Booger is just brutally honest and some fans can't handle the truth. I love his analysis. He is one of the few who knows what he is talking about.

I agree with you, but the difference is, Booger isn't always right. I just happen to disagree with him on this. Sure, it would be great to have a strong offensive mind as HC at LSU for a change, but if you have someone who checks off every other box (including not micromanaging the staff), you're just as good hiring a great OC instead.

I think Booger speaks the truth as best as he can at all times. I do think playing the odds he is correct that Coach O will not be the head coach next year. However, I disagree that if he runs the table impressively that he won't get the job. I believe if he does that he will get the job and that is the only way he gets the job.

All of the announcers on SEC networks are homers at times, but at times they are the ones most critical of their former schools. I'm sure this is by design and not a coincidence

2 things....I don't think what he said about Coach O was "anti LSU", but I do think he was wrong about it.

I think that the administration will give O a shot if he wins out, or makes an impressive run with the rest of our schedule. I know most of us fans would like to think they are trying to get a home-run hire, but its my firm opinion that a home-run type hire isn't coming to LSU.

He tells the truth. However if coach O wins out it will make the choice harder and he admits to that.

Booger is not as diplomatic as Marcus when it comes to LSU issues, which can understandably rub people the wrong way, but it's not his job to be our cheerleader.

I think he and McElroy are the two most objective analysts on SEC Network.

I believe he's been nothing short of an exemplary advocate for LSU.

It's fine to disagree with what he says but his opinions are not coming from a place of anti-LSU sentiment.

I did not interpret his comments towards O as not liking/wanting him, I interpreted them as he thought the powers that be want a QB whisperer like Herman, Jimbo, etc.

I think Booger is doing a GREAT job as a journalist/media member in NOT being a 100% LSU homer and calling it like he feels he sees it.
