Maybe because that would give LSU and Florida 2 bye weeks during the season, although it would sorta even out if one of them made the SECCG because every other team but them would get an off week before the SECCG.

Why at the Georgia Dome Dec 3rd instead of Gainesville? Don't get me wrong... I would love for it to be in ATL but what's the reasoning?

I like the thought, but the 12/3 game would be in Gainesville, not Atlanta.

If the SEC wants us to play Florida on 11/19, then it's in Baton Rouge b/c we have a scheduled home game for that date for a reason. I think Joe should be a dick back to them and say this.

frick UForfeit. They had 3 chances to play the game in Pussyville and they pissed it away. Play the game in Atlanta or forfeit. That should be their only two options. Teach their arse a lesson for being chickenshit cowards.

Of course the SEC is not going to push the championship game back. This is smart negotiation. Ask for the moon so that the other party will be more willing to give in on what you really want. This is a tactic to get either the Florida/Georgia game moved or the Texas A&M/LSU game moved would be my guess.

The first bowl game is not until Dec 17th. Moving the SECCG/Bowl Selection back one week wont make a big difference on the actual playoffs.

I don't like how this is sort of losing attention.. If the game doesn't get played and Florida gets into the SEC title game... That would be some bullshite.

This game or the SECCG would have no affect on the earlier games, so they could already be determined, the SEC bowl games typically don't start until 12/28 or 12/29.
