SEC should let the season play out. If it turns out they need the outcome of this game to determine SECCG participants, give UF the forfeit at that time.

Would be glorious.

My point with that line was that I'm surprised it took this event to open your eyes.

Everyone is different. You are taking the right approach.

And I will be with him, ready and willing when and if that happens.

You can have dibs on my tickets too. I only have 3 in my name, but have purchased 6 others from those not willing to pay for attendance for close to a decade.

And with the expansion in SEZ, demand just isn't there. In my 3 seats in my name in over a decade of not missing a home game, in the 2 rows in front of me and 2 rows behind me in my section, there is only one couple that has also remained.

I still feel that it will be unlikely that LSU at FL takes place on their terms, b/c circumstances will play out to make the game a moot point, but it will be beneficial to me to find out exactly where I and LSU stand.

So, let's finish at least this season in person, and maybe the rest from the comfort of my
home.

My response was referring to RobbBobb, not you specifically, unless it applies to you also.

I'm done too. Not with LSU, but with the SEC. Everything including the recruiting services are ran from Bama. We get hosed every year and now the bias, corruption, and now this is grounds for LSU to at the very least consider another conference or become independent.

Did the same with McNeese game last year, so . . . .

Not the same situation at all, and technically the tickets, hotels, restaurants, and concessions were used to some extent for that game.

Doesn't effect LSU at all

Perhaps not, but it does show how the SEC seems to have complete disregard for the majority of their institutions.

FEMA money is pumping sales in this area more, also So Bama aint a big money weekend

Have any numbers to back this up? Have expected numbers of South Alabama fans expected to make the trip? Some money is better than no money/negative money (which would be the case if LSU has to buy out the game AND lose the gate/concession money).

OK, this is the biggest stretch. Most people want to be home for Thanksgiving anyway

Obviously you missed the point.

Have any links to back that up?

The SEC and UForfeit are complicit in this and I'm not supporting a school that will just continue to bend over, year after year, and take it up the arse every time the SEC office gets in the mood.

This is the thing that really resonates with me. We've been motherfricked by the SEC more times than I can offhandedly recall, and our administration never makes a peep, except (presumably?) behind closed doors. The only thing I can think of is that they're afraid of bad PR, but this isn't exactly the same as "whining" about scheduling or pitching a bitch over PP7's divot. This is LSU being all but eliminated from the hunt for the West on a pussy arse technicality that an objective regime in Birmingham would NEVER have allowed to happen.

I used to be part of the "win and it doesn't matter" crowd, but this is inexcusable. The media has shown that it is willing (to some extent) to criticize UF on this situation. Pitch the hugest, most well-articulated bitch imaginable about all this and let the media run with it and put the heat on UF and the snakes in Birmingham. If it gets resolved, skullfrick UF to oblivion. If it doesn't, leave this piece of shite conference and go run the table every year. The SEC does not have a stranglehold on the sport like it did in the BCS days. We don't need them.

Wow. A tad upset are you?????? To be fair..... It's just football.... Serious. The LSU fans going overboard need to re-think some things. Should the game been moved??? YES. But it wasn't. Is it Floridas fault???? Maybe. Was there a fricking hurricane about to hit the state of Florida???? YES. People in Louisiana have been dealing with these storms for years. They can basically go where they want and cause tons of damage. I still don't understand the amount of crying by LSzu fans , knowing that there could have been severe damage to the Gainsville area. Down vote me all you want. But AGAIN..... It's just a football game.

I have experience to back that up

Worked with lower division teams that scheduled D1 opponents. The expectation was never that we would benefit on the field, but that the one game would be a huge chunk of our entire years budget

If we could get the payday, and not risk our athletes health, plus it wouldn't effect our hopes at a division championship. Then there would be no hurt feelings. AT All

I reiterate, 11/19 is NOT an option.

If any make-up date is announced, it has to be either Monday or Tuesday of this coming week, or 10/29.

The 10/29 (our bye week) would require UF and UGA to move their game up a week to 10/22 when both have byes.

I'm not saying they don't feel that way, and I do understand their sentiment completely. But when you say that they are "actually cheering" for that outcome, one would assume you have something to back up that statement besides your purported experience.

So if your boss were to call you up and say "Hey, somethings come up. Don't come in this week, and I will still send your check as usual on Friday."

Your reaction would be?

I don't know, man. Have I ACTUALLY CHEERED for my getting a paycheck for no work during that week or did someone that purports to have vast experience with me and my work only claim that I was ACTUALLY CHEERING for not having to work and still get paid?

(You're changing the argument, and avoiding providing evidence for the statements you've made. Quite the dishonest debate from your end.)

If its such a dangerous environment then why is Florida hosting recruits as we post.
