First. According to Hannigriff - Coach Orgeron was given assurances by LSU that he'll be given a fair opportunity to remain the head coach at the end of the season.

Second. According to friends connected with LSU, Miles was asked to fire Cameron and he refused.

Third - According to Shea, LSU's great recruiting class is not being hurt by the firing of Miles.

Fourth - People who know Ensminger state, LSU will use far more play action passing.

Orgeron has a very low chance at being a permanent replacement.

No way of knowing that just because no one has left 5 hours later.

They probably told O that in order to get him to take the job on an interim basis. If any of the big names are serious candidates (which they will be), one of those other names wI'll be the next coach.

I'm honestly not sure this is even possible. They give some sort of PA fake on 90% of the passes.

Well, say whatever is necessary to survive this season, but no. Don't need to replace one fool with another.

I love O's fire but I'm hesitant for a full cycle of him if they win out.

I think with Ensminger we will see a balanced run pass offense with an focus on taking what the defense will give us, especially when unpredictability helps.

Few big gambles, but some surprises, and hopefully, better execution.

Our offense is simply not executing individually or as a team. Hopefully that changes.

Unpossiblez. In his final game as LSU's coach, Miles had his offense run play action from the I-formation on 1st and 25!

While today has been a great day, numerous holes remain in the dike. Grimes, Peveto, Raymond all need to step up and not squander their shot at redemption.
