robably put all the OP's money on LSU to cover

Luckily he had already filed most of my paperwork so there wasn't much of my retainer left. It's just the whole process of having to find a new attorney to finish everything is annoying.

I don't know. F. Lee Bailey's cross examination of Mark Furman was instrumental in getting O.J. sprung.

Of course, F. Lee Bailey then proceeded to get himself disbarred by doing some shady shite with a client's assets, so maybe you're right.

I started in 95 and every swinging dick came out with the initial first, it was really trendy.

All that education, testing etc for nothing. Us new lawyers hate to see him go.

STFU. No lawyer on this board will support the kind of activity in the OP. Those are the ones that give the rest of us a bad name.

Disbarred attorney = less competition for getting cases

I assume he will be disbarred in LA, would this block him from getting licensed in another state?

In addition to all of the stuff they told you to do in this thread, send a letter to his firm requesting his E&O insurance policy. If he is ineligible to practice, I think the bar will appoint someone to respond to inquiries made to his firm.

They do such an intense background check to obtain a bar license, I would assume that he wouldn't be able to obtain a license in another state if he is permanently disbarred in one state.

His firm is an empty office, should I send to the disciplinary committee?
