Greg Cosell "Rodgers Doesn't Execute the Offense and Misses Routine Throws"

Cosell is the producer of NFL Films and NFL Matchup and gives an unbiased analytical breakdown of QBs every week on Cowherd's show. Today he said this about Rodgers. (no link available yet)
quote:
"I cant speak for what's in his head, all I know is Aaron Rodgers is not playing very well and this started last year and they're getting further and further away from what their passing game concepts are and the execution of those concepts.
Rodgers has become a scattershot thrower, he misses a lot of throws he used to make. He doesn't execute the offense and that's what you ask quarterbacks to do.
...For years and years we talked about Jay Cutler and that he didn't execute the offense despite his great talent, Aaron Rodgers in not executing the offense...
...And now you're adding the fact that he's a little too scattershot and he's missing routine throws. You have a quarterback who the tape tells you this. This is not an interpretation, this is what the tape says...he's not playing very well right now."

He has been awesome, but people were a little premature jumping on the GOAT bandwagon and have seemed to be a little tardy jumping off.

the ringer had a pretty good breakdown of his struggles yesterday

I think everyone realizes he is playing poorly. It won't last.

I agree in part with the article but I Lol'd at this comparison.
We'll see what Rodgers can do going forward. His weapons have been lacking since last year, in part due to injury.

Time for Rodgers to bring out that 5 letter word?

Olivia Munn got him all fricked up

Seems like every time this comes up, Rodgers goes out and throws five or six touchdowns the next game.

Greg Cosell is really good with his film breakdown. I like his segment on cowherd.

It looks like Rodgers is putting too much faith in his arm strength the last couple of seasons. His feet weren't set on the interception he threw Sunday night and that's not the first time I've seen him miss throws doing that.
His footwork looks like this a lot these days...

No surprise this is Brandon Harris' favorite QB.

How many teams would trade for Rodgers in a heartbeat?

I think a lot of their woes are because they have abandoned Lacy in the running game. He is 12th in the league in YPC but only has 26 carries.
He didnt have a great year in 2015, but this year he hasnt done bad. They just dont give him the ball.
