I won't mention any names because they don't deserve the attention, and yes it's their right but today is not the day to protest for your cause.

Today is a day to honor and remember our fellow Americans.

Isn't an entire team planning to do it? Seems like a bad day for that "protest".

I'll never watch another NFL game again, so it won't bother me one way or another.

Whatever helps them take their mind off the over 500 murders in Chicago this year and an abortion rate of over 50%.

If they sit today they might as well be waving a flag that says, "Go Terrorists."

Has anyone considered that kneeling during the anthom isn't necessarily disrespectful?

Humans kneel before God to show respect. We kneel before kings and queens to show respect. We kneel when we ask for a woman's hand in marriage to show respect.

Kneeling is a form of deep respect.

Perhaps we're making a bigger issue out of this than is necessary. I don't think this is the first time players have kneeled during the national anthom. In fact, players routinely kneel during the anthom just because they're resting before the game starts.

The attention we're giving them is the problem. We're the reason everyone is talking about it because we simply won't ignore their stupidity. They are winning because we choose to lose.

It's not a protest, it's attention whoring.

I stopped watching all NFL BS since this started...actually a little before due to all the PC crap. If it changes, I'll watch again.

Frick everyone that sits or does anything other than honor our country's flag and anthem.

CK just wants attention because he sucks at playing QB. I laugh at these mf acting like they are treated badly making millions. Dudes probably never even seen race issues first hand but wants to speak for other people. Get the frick outta here and accept your position on th fricking bench

I thought it was funny that Seattle says they're going to lock arms and alternate a black player, then a white player, then a black player, and so on. Where are they going to get enough white guys to do that...bring in the scout team?

The NFL is like any business today, bowing to political correctness.

It's just as fine a day as any to protest if we're being honest.

They will learn that they are not 1/1000th as important as they think they are.

They are football players. There's really no one stepping up on the national stage when it comes to race relations. There is a lot of pontificating, showboating and blaming the other side.

Somebody at some point will take the lead, but rest assured it won't be some football player.

I saw a video from Chicago about the black man gunned down in his front yard by two punks passing by on bicycles. Those men showed far more leadership that Colin Kaepernick. They didn't blame the cops. They didn't blame whitey. They encouraged people to report those murderers and to step up.

Any other day I really don't care. But on 9/11, you're a fricking self centered c*nt to be pulling that shite. People really need to re-watch the footage of the planes hitting the towers, our own citizens jumping to their deaths, and the radical Islamic celebration that followed from the attacks. It's been 15 years so it's starting to fade from many folks memory.
