Bought the 20ga for my wife and for me when I shoot doves.
Works great. Won't cycle real real light loads well at first. Took some time
ETA:
It's no browning or similar gas operated but nice for price

This will be my third season with mine. Not a single failure yet. I had heard to break it in with 3" shells, but I have shot 2 3/4" just fine from the start.

My little man got one from Santa Claus. Affinity Compact .20
He got his 1st 2 dove with it this past sat. Going to give it a workout again in the morning if we're lucky.
ETA: He's only shooting with one shell right now, but none have failed to eject so far.
Also to add: I had to buy him a new slip-on recoil pad. The recoil pad that was on there is a harder rubber or something. Really sucked to shoot as the gun is so light. New recoil pad has worked wonders.

first thing i noticed when mack jr #1 shot it was how dang loud it is compared to other shotguns. also, the bolts on affinitys make a "ping" sound when you cycle them.
they are really great shooting guns for a reasonable price

"ping" sound
I remember hearing that sound on a lot of those guns with that rotating bolt head

My Beretta A 400 has a ring to it too. It has a rotating bolt head as well. Kinda weird sounding.

Not the exact model you bought, but ............one of my co-workers has a Franch 620 (20 gauge). He's not very tall, and has sorta short arms, so it's a youth model that fits him perfectly.
That gun has never failed to cycle low brass target loads (sporting clays) & never failed to fire in over 5 years of use. It weighs very little and has really low recoil. It was one of the last (if not the very last) Franchi models that is gas operated.
I'm really impressed at how well this gun has performed.

I've been drooling over a Franchi 48 AL 28ga for a while now. I handled one once and sonuvabitch I liked it.
